Japan Contest | Concorso Giappone

Hi everyone, are you enjoying holidays? I may be able to have some relaxing days soon… you can find clues on Jack and Elly channels, especially in our last video, and do not forget to follow us on Instagram! About Elly Lakes, I am here to talk about the Japan Contest, with which you can win great prizes, offered by me, other artists, and stores dedicated to Japan, manga, and anime. Everybody can participate, and the process is very easy.

Rules of the Contest
If you want to be able to win a prize, you have to follow three simple rules:
1) Go on the Elly Lakes World Facebook page and like and share the post with the rules (I will pin this article on the top of the page, so you are able to share it)
2) Ask to be admitted to the private group of the page called We Love Travelling!
3) Post in the group one picture with a short text, depending on your category:
– Category “I have been to Japan and…”: Post a picture of your trip to Japan and say what you liked of it
– Category “I would like to go to Japan because…”: Post a picture of another trip (or your home!) and say why would you like to go to Japan
4) The deadline is extended! You have time until August 30!
The two categories were made to give everybody a chance to participate and win. Do not let me down! 😛

Prizes and Awards Ceremony
At the beginning, the prizes were provided only by me, consisting in cute Japanese stationery items. But during the last weeks I managed to partner with other artists, art galleries, and shops. If you own a store or a business related to Japan, geek culture, or travel, please contact me, you are welcome to collaborate and offer a prize!
The prizes are (so far): Set of Game of Thrones Mugs offered by Dadix Comics and Manga Shop Lugano, Canvasses representing anime characters offered by Marco Lucchetti Art Gallery Lugano, works of art offered by Namida Arte, works of art offered by Miyako Jenny, the first three numbers of the comic book ArcKnight by Arcsknightcomics, one hour of private lesson of Japanese with Miru (みる), hand-made keychains by Anna Tuor of BAnG! Studio, a “Kyoto Visual Tour” with Edoardo Pedoja (Diario di un papà in Giappone), Lightroom Presets by Trip’N’Roll – It’s Never Too Late, and Japanese stationery / funny items offered by Elly Lakes and Jack and Elly.
The Awards Ceremony will be held towards the beginning of September (to be defined) at the Dadix Comics and Manga Shop Lugano and Marco Lucchetti Art Gallery. The winner does not have to be present, since the ceremony will be filmed and showcased on Elly Lakes YouTube channel, and the prizes will be mailed to the person directly. If the winners live nearby or can easily reach the places, of course they can participate.

Many people already submitted their picture for the contest and I am super happy to see that there is a lot of interesting content from both categories. I am inserting the pictures in two albums on the Elly Lakes World page, go take a look! I am curious about what will come next. If you participate, I wish you good luck!

Ciao a tutti, vi state godendo le vacanze? Io potrei presto trascorrere giorni rilassanti… potete trovare indizi sui canali di Jack ed Elly, specialmente nel nostro ultimo video, e non dimenticate di seguirci su Instagram! A proposito di Elly Lakes, sono qui per parlare del Concorso Giappone, con il quale potete vincere fantastici premi, offerti da me, altri artisti e negozi dedicati al Giappone, ai manga e agli anime. Tutti possono partecipare e il processo è molto semplice.

Regole del concorso
Se volete essere in grado di vincere un premio, dovete seguire tre semplici regole:
1) Andate sulla pagina Facebook Elly Lakes World e mettete mi piace e condividete il post con le regole (metterò questo articolo in cima alla pagina, così che siate in grado di condividerlo)
2) Chiedete di essere ammessi al gruppo privato della pagina chiamato We Love Travelling!
3) Pubblicate nel gruppo una foto con un breve testo, a seconda della categoria:
– Categoria “Sono stato/a in Giappone e…”: pubblicate una foto del vostro viaggio in Giappone e dite cosa vi è piaciuto
– Categoria “Vorrei andare in Giappone perché…”: pubblicate una foto di un altro viaggio (o di casa vostra!) E dite perché vorreste andare in Giappone
4) La scadenza è prorogata! Avete tempo fino al 30 agosto!
Le due categorie sono state create per dare a tutti la possibilità di partecipare e vincere. Non deludetemi! 😛

Premi e Cerimonia di premiazione
All’inizio i premi venivano forniti solo da me, costituiti da simpatici oggetti di cartoleria giapponesi. Ma nelle ultime settimane sono riuscita a collaborare con altri artisti, gallerie d’arte, e negozi. Se possedete un negozio o un’attività commerciale legata al Giappone, alla cultura geek, o al viaggio, vi prego di contattarmi, siete invitati a collaborare e a offrire un premio!
I premi sono (finora): Set di tazze di Game of Thrones offerti da Dadix Comics e Manga Shop Lugano, tele raffiguranti personaggi anime offerti da Marco Lucchetti Art Gallery Lugano, opere d’arte offerte da Namida Arte, opere d’arte offerte da Miyako Jenny, i primi tre numeri del fumetto ArcKnight di Arcsknightcomics, un’ora di lezione privata di giapponese con Miru (みる), portachiavi fatti a mano da Anna Tuor del BAnG! Studio, un “Kyoto Visual Tour” con Edoardo Pedoja (Diario di un papà in Giappone), i Preset Lightroom di Trip’N’Roll – It’s Never Too Late, e articoli di cartoleria / oggetti simpatici giapponesi offerti da Elly Lakes e Jack and Elly.
La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà verso l’inizio di settembre (da definire) presso il Dadix Comics e Manga Shop Lugano e la Marco Lucchetti Art Gallery. Non è necessario che il vincitore sia presente, poiché la cerimonia verrà filmata e mostrata sul canale YouTube di Elly Lakes e i premi verranno inviati direttamente alla persona. Se i vincitori vivono nelle vicinanze o possono raggiungere facilmente i luoghi, ovviamente possono partecipare.

Molte persone hanno già inviato la loro foto per il concorso e sono molto felice di vedere che ci sono diversi contenuti interessanti da entrambe le categorie. Sto inserendo le immagini in due album nella pagina Elly Lakes World, date un’occhiata! Sono curiosa di sapere cosa verrà dopo. Se partecipate, vi auguro buona fortuna!
