Hi everyone! How are you doing? I hope everything is going well with you. Today, November 25, is exactly one month before Christmas Day, and some relatives have already started asking me what I would like to receive from them. So, I came up with a gift idea for you, if you are struggling to find the right presents this year: Gift(Yourself) a Trip by Elly Lakes. But what is it all about? Let’s have a look at it in detail in this article!

The start of your Christmas present:
Submit a request with your dream destination through the Contact Me page
I bet you have one, some, or even thousands (like me) dream destinations on your wish list. Or maybe you share them with a special someone (a friend, partner, parent or relative) and you would like to make them a surprise on Christmas Day. Even if you do not have one, but you crave a trip somewhere exotic, you can start by browsing the list of places I have already been to for inspiration, or we can figure it out together according to your hobbies and interests. So, how can we make your dream come true? You can start by going to the Contact Me page and submit a request (do not forget to write down your favourite destination, if you have one), I will receive your message directly in my inbox, and I will reply to you by e-mail within 24 hours. Et voilà, we will begin our conversation from there.

Make your Christmas present a reality:
Participate in the initial organization of your trip
Once you submit your request, and I reply to your email, we can start with the initial steps of the organization of your trip. As described in the page Products and Services, my Travel Assistant service entails one hour (or less, you decide) of free video call to get to know the kind of traveller you are, and how you would expect your trip to be. I will ask you some simple questions, which become specific to your case the more we talk. A very good initial free call saves us a lot of time and makes the organization of the itinerary fast and fun. After the call, I will take a couple of days to prepare your down payment (which differs depending on the kind of trip, for example, if you would like to organize a long weekend in an European capital, or a three-week-long exploration of Japan), and if you decide to proceed, you will have officially booked your trip organization. We can then start immediately (for example, 2024 New Year’s Eve trip), next year (2025), or when you prefer (everything can happen in life, but if you gift a trip this Christmas to someone, I suggest you to fulfil the promise within one year). If, on the other hand, you are not joining the trip yourself, and you gift it to someone else (very generous of you!), in the call you can tell me what you think the other person would like, and you can start earning discounts with the Referral Program for your next trips (more information on the Products and Services page).

Once you book a trip organization, I will craft a handmade, totally customizable gift card, that I will send to you by mail and you can use it to give the news to your loved ones on Christmas Day. Running late? Do not worry: If you book your trip organization too close to Christmas, I can send you a PDF file, which you can print out, and I will explain to you how to craft the card yourself (it is very easy!). Inside the card, there will be an original picture from one of my trips related to the country you will choose, and you can send me additional pictures (e.g., with your family) that I can add to make it more personal. You can also send me the text you would like me to write inside the card by hand, type it in your favorite font, or fill it out yourself when you receive the card. The choice is yours.

After receiving the gift card and made your loved ones happy on Christmas Day, it comes the best part: Travelling! If you decided to depart immediately for New Year, we would have organized your trip by then, everything will be ready, and you just have to pack your bags and go! I can be there with you through my Online Support Service if you need to. On the other hand, if you decided to have your trip next year, then we will take our time to prepare the perfect itinerary later on, and in this case you can also consider my Support in person (Elly comes with you) upon availability (since I am already organizing some groups for next year). Finally, if you gifted the trip to somebody else, I will organize it with them and keep you updated.

To sum up, this year’s Christmas campaign works as follows:

2) Wait for my reply within 24 hours;

Ciao a tutti! Come state? Spero che tutto stia andando bene. Oggi, 25 novembre, manca esattamente un mese al giorno di Natale e alcuni parenti hanno già iniziato a chiedermi cosa mi piacerebbe ricevere da loro, così ho pensato a un’idea regalo per voi, se siete in difficoltà nel trovare i doni giusti quest’anno: Regala(Ti) un viaggio di Elly Lakes. Ma di cosa si tratta? Vediamolo in dettaglio in questo articolo!

L’inizio del vostro regalo di Natale:
Inviate una richiesta con la destinazione dei vostri sogni attraverso la pagina Contact Me
Scommetto che avete una, alcune o addirittura migliaia di destinazioni da sogno (come me) nella vostra lista dei desideri. O forse le condividete con una persona speciale (un amico, partner, genitore o parente) e vorreste farle una sorpresa il giorno di Natale. Anche se non ne avete una, ma desiderate un viaggio in qualche luogo esotico, potete iniziare a sfogliare l’elenco dei luoghi in cui sono già stata per trarre ispirazione, oppure possiamo decidere insieme in base ai vostri hobby e interessi. Come possiamo quindi realizzare il vostro sogno? Potete iniziare andando alla pagina Contact Me e inviando una richiesta (non dimenticate di scrivere la vostra destinazione preferita, se ne avete una), riceverò il vostro messaggio direttamente nella mia casella di posta e vi risponderò via e-mail entro 24 ore. Et voilà, da lì cominceremo la nostra conversazione.

Trasformate il vostro regalo di Natale in realtà:
Partecipate all’organizzazione iniziale del vostro viaggio
Una volta che avrete inviato la vostra richiesta e che avrò risposto alla vostra e-mail, potremo iniziare con le fasi iniziali dell’organizzazione del vostro viaggio. Come descritto nella pagina Products and Services, il mio servizio di assistente di viaggio prevede un’ora (o meno, decidete voi) di videochiamata gratuita per conoscere che tipo di viaggiatori siete e come vi aspettate sia il vostro viaggio. Vi porrò alcune semplici domande, che diventeranno specifiche per il vostro caso più parleremo. Un’ottima telefonata iniziale gratuita ci fa risparmiare molto tempo e rende l’organizzazione dell’itinerario veloce e divertente. Dopo la chiamata, mi prenderò un paio di giorni per preparare il vostro acconto (che varia a seconda del tipo di viaggio, ad esempio se volete organizzare un weekend lungo in una capitale europea, o un’esplorazione del Giappone di tre settimane), e se deciderete di procedere, avrete ufficialmente prenotato l’organizzazione del vostro viaggio. Potremo quindi iniziare subito (per esempio, un viaggio a Capodanno 2024), l’anno prossimo (2025) o quando preferite (tutto può succedere nella vita, ma se regalate un viaggio questo Natale a qualcuno, vi suggerisco di mantenere la promessa entro un anno). Se invece non partecipate al viaggio e lo regalate a qualcun altro (molto generoso da parte vostra!), nella telefonata potete dirmi che cosa pensate possa piacere all’altra persona, e potete iniziare a guadagnare sconti con il Referral Program per i vostri prossimi viaggi (maggiori informazioni alla pagina Products and Services).

Una volta prenotata l’organizzazione del viaggio, realizzerò una carta regalo fatta a mano, totalmente personalizzabile, che vi invierò per posta e che potrete utilizzare per dare la notizia ai vostri cari il giorno di Natale. Siete in ritardo? Non preoccupatevi: se prenotate l’organizzazione del viaggio troppo a ridosso del Natale, posso inviarvi un file PDF, che potrete stampare, e vi spiegherò come realizzare il biglietto da soli (è molto facile!). All’interno del biglietto, ci sarà una foto originale di uno dei miei viaggi relativi al Paese che sceglierete, e potrete inviarmi altre foto (ad esempio, con la vostra famiglia) che potrò aggiungere per renderlo più personale. Potete anche inviarmi il testo che vorreste che scrivessi a mano all’interno del biglietto, digitarlo con il vostro font preferito, oppure scriverlo voi stessi quando ricevete la carta regalo. La scelta è vostra.

Un viaggio ben organizzato e su misura per voi
Dopo aver ricevuto la carta regalo e aver reso felici i vostri cari il giorno di Natale, arriva la parte migliore: viaggiare! Se avete deciso di partire subito per Capodanno, a quel punto avremmo già organizzato il vostro viaggio, tutto sarà pronto, e voi dovrete solo fare le valigie e partire! In caso di necessità, posso essere presente con voi attraverso il mio Servizio di assistenza online. Se, invece, avete deciso di fare il vostro viaggio l’anno prossimo, allora ci prenderemo il tempo necessario per preparare l’itinerario perfetto in seguito, e in questo caso potete anche considerare il mio Supporto di persona (Elly viene con voi) in base alla disponibilità (dato che sto già organizzando alcuni gruppi per l’anno prossimo). Infine, se avete regalato il viaggio a qualcun altro, lo organizzerò con loro e vi terrò aggiornati.

5) Finiamo di organizzare il vostro viaggio e partite!
