More about Elly Lakes
Born in Italy, raised in Switzerland, started my own business in Tokyo, currently based in Nice. I am a creative, imaginative, visionary person, but also practical and well organized. I love working with words and images, finding always new strategies to convey compelling messages. I get my inspiration by travelling the world, and now I help others do the same.
I was born in Italy, in August 1991. My family moved to Switzerland when I was a kid, where I then graduated with a Master of Science in Communication in September 2015. I studied Graphic Design in London, during the summer of 2017. I challenged myself by moving to Tokyo, in January 2018, where I studied Japanese, worked, and then founded my own business. After almost 7 years in Japan, I moved to Nice in August 2024.
My work experiences mirror my studies: PR and promotion, university lectures assistant, social media and websites management, articles and newsletters writing, image and video editing, surveys and research coordination, corporate presentations creation, and event management in Switzerland and abroad. I started my own project, Elly Lakes, during October 2017, which became my own business in 2024. I love travelling. I visited and lived in different countries in Europe, America, and Asia. During my study and work experiences I expanded my knowledge of English, Japanese, German, French, and Spanish as well as interacted with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
