After a couple of years living in Japan, and with my follower base growing, people started calling me an Influencer. As I told the editor in chief of Ticinolibero in one of my interviews, I became an Influencer “partly by chance and partly by desire“. Swiss importer of Japanese tea and crafts – Since March 2025 I collaborate with Mononoaware, which helps small Japanese business by importing their products to Switzerland. Hello Fresh is a famous food delivery service based on recipes, I participated to their world-wide marketing campaign. With the “FRESHJAPAN” discount code followers could save up 5,000¥ on their first two meal boxes. This was a 2-days campaign in February 2022 on Elly Lakes Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and WhatsApp.

Kaizoku Press
Kaizoku Press is an Italian independent label of roleplaying games and board games. I created a campaign in occasion of their participation to the Play Games Festival in Modena. Visit Kochi Japan
Visit Kochi Japan is a Tourist Information Center in the city of Kochi, Kochi Prefecture, Japan. I had the pleasure to collaborate and also meet them in the past, and I published several articles and pictures dedicated to Kochi on Elly Lakes channels too. They decided to feature one of the Elly Lakes Instagram posts on the Visit Kochi Japan Instagram page in November 2021.

JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization)
In February 2023, when I was in Switzerland for a while, I was invited to participate in a tea ceremony organized by the JNTO in Ascona, Ticino. The event was held on Monte Verità, at the Casa del tè, and among the guests there were the Influencer ShantiLives and journalists from local newspapers. I was on the stage with one of the event organizers, with whom I performed the tea ceremony. During March 23 2023, once I got back to Japan, I created the 3-days campaign on Elly Lakes Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The LinkedIn content was reshared by the organizers on their channel.

Giulia Porro
In March 2023 I was invited to take a personal coaching session with Giulia Porro, which helped me feeling better and see things from another point of view.
