Living Tokyo – Endings and Beginnings

In my last article (Living Tokyo – Work, Dance, and Snakes) I was going to dive into the exams session. Well, good news: I passed all of them, with an average of 90/100, so I am definitely going to the next level! I also subscribed to the JLPT N3 exam that will be held in December. Since it will be a real challenge, wish me good luck!

Yesterday, once all the exams were over, with my class we visited the Sumida Hokusai Museum. I had already seen Hokusai’s masterpieces in Milan, but here I had the chance to have a closer look to his little diaries and sketch books. So satisfying! Then I enjoyed a good lunch with my classmates, and in the evening after work I have been to another event organized by the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, where I met old and new people.

Now I am preparing my suitcase and electronic devices, because tomorrow I will go on an adventure! Yes! A new country awaits me, and I am really curious to see how it is: Korea! 🙂 have you already been there? In the last three years the only Asian country I visited was Japan, so I am pretty much excited to hear, eat, and see different things. I am sure Korea will be similar but also different from our little Shin-Okubo, the Korean town, where I go everyday for school (you can read a dedicated article here).

Ciao a tutti, avete già visto la cover che io e i miei amici abbiamo fatto per un contest KPOP (sopra)? Probabilmente dovreste, e non dimenticate di mettere like perché è importante per vincere! Grazie per il vostro sostegno!

Nel mio ultimo articolo (Living Tokyo – Work, Dance, and Snakes) stavo per immergermi nella sessione di esami. Bene, buone notizie: li ho passati tutti, con una media di 90/100, quindi senza dubbio passerò al livello successivo! Mi sono anche iscritta all’esame JLPT N3 che si terrà a dicembre. Dal momento che sarà una vera sfida, auguratemi buona fortuna!

Ieri, una volta finiti tutti gli esami, con la mia classe abbiamo visitato il Sumida Hokusai Museum. Avevo già visto i capolavori di Hokusai a Milano, ma qui ho avuto la possibilità di dare un’occhiata più da vicino ai suoi diari e ai suoi album di schizzi. Molto soddisfacente! Poi mi sono goduta un bel pranzo con i miei compagni di classe, e la sera dopo il lavoro sono stata a un altro evento organizzato dalla Camera di Commercio svizzera, dove ho incontrato persone vecchie e nuove.

Ora sto preparando la mia valigia e i dispositivi elettronici, perché domani andrò all’avventura! Sì! Un nuovo paese mi aspetta e sono davvero curiosa di vedere com’è: la Corea! 🙂 siete mai stati lì? Negli ultimi tre anni l’unico paese asiatico che ho visitato è stato il Giappone, quindi sono veramente emozionata all’idea di ascoltare, mangiare e vedere cose differenti. Sono sicura che la Corea sarà simile ma anche diversa dalla nostra piccola Shin-Okubo, la città coreana, dove vado tutti i giorni per la scuola (potete leggere un mio articolo dedicato qui).
